“My work isn’t just about burlesque, it’s about creating a space for profound healing, emotional freedom, and radical self-love.”
ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Perle! I am a sex traffic survivor, domestic violence survivor, former Internatinal Burlesque Queen, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, and the embodiment of Josphine Baker before and after the banana skirt. Welcome to my sacred space.
I'm a keynote speaker, educator, and transformational coach guiding women and femmes to heal themselves through ancestor veneration, burlesque, and radical self-love.
I was raised in the South, where I was taught from an early age that my purpose was to serve others — even if it meant sacrificing my body, joy, and spirit. I now understand that what I was taught wasn’t purpose — it was survival.
But I refused to let that be the end of my story.
I found my way back to myself through the healing power of burlesque. Through movement, ritual, and self-seduction, I reclaimed my body, my voice, and my sacred sensuality. And now, I help others do the same.
My signature method is rooted in shedding generational shame, awakening sensual power, and reconnecting with the divine feminine through storytelling and sacred embodiment.
Since launching Healing Through Seduction in Tokyo in 2012, I’ve had the honor of guiding thousands of women across the globe through immersive workshops, online experiences, and powerful rituals. My work has been featured at NYU, Hunter College, Lincoln Center, and business platforms like ROI: The Millionaire Summit by Hello Seven. My teachings weave glamour with spirituality to create healing not just for individuals, but for the lineages we carry.
Before I stepped into this sacred calling, I was — and still am — a globally recognized burlesque performer. I’ve received honors including Best Debut, Most Dazzling Dancer, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Burlesque Hall of Fame. As the founder and choreographer of The House of Noire, I’ve made history as the first Black headliner to tour with Dita Von Teese, and the first Black burlesque queen to perform in Tokyo’s Last Waltz and Italy’s Summer Jamboree.
I’ve graced international stages including the Sydney Opera House, Lincoln Center, and Teatro Circo Price in Madrid. My story has been shared in documentaries like Showtime’s Getting Naked and Burlesque Undressed, and featured in outlets like ABC, MTV, Cosmopolitan, and Burlesque Bible, which named me the #1 International Burlesque Performer in the World.
My mission is sacred and simple: to create spaces where women and femmes can reclaim their sensuality, sovereignty, and ancestral power. Through Healing Through Seduction, I continue to invite others to come home to themselves — with elegance, devotion, and unapologetic power.
What is Healing Through Seduction?
At Healing Through Seduction, we conjure transformation through the art of burlesque, blending storytelling, sensuality, and sacred rituals to guide women on a journey of healing and empowerment. We create sacred spaces where women can reclaim their autonomy, rewrite their narratives, and awaken their divine feminine energy. Through the power of performance and community, we help you reconnect with your body, embrace your sensuality, and step into your true self.
My mission:
I help women reconnect with their bodies through burlesque and healing rituals. We focus on using storytelling to heal the inner child, embracing glamour and taking up space to heal the inner diva, and reclaiming the parts of your personality you have been suppressing to heal your connection with your higher selves and ancestors. We must heal our connection to ourselves and invite our ancestors to the conversation if we want to heal generational trauma and focus on true generational wealth. That is the power of healing through burlesque and self-seduction.
